Good Hospitals for Senior Citizen Check Up

Last Updated on September 17, 2024 by Jake

We all know that seniors require frequent check-ups with doctors. What hospital has good facilities? Let’s take a look.

St. Luke’s Medical Center

One thing I noticed about this hospital is that they give stickers to seniors. No, not cute fancy ones but tags. When you enter the main building, the reception or guard will give a senior citizen a circular sticker.

The sticker says “Fall” risk. This is only given to seniors, meaning they should be taken care of and assisted as they may slip or fall. This is a good move showing their commitment to elderly safety.

Makati Medical Center

As one of the top hospitals in the country, you can rely on their transparency. Many think the hospital rates are expensive. Well, it may be true. But one thing that I like about them is price availability.

The hospital has a dedicated portal where patients can see the prices of their medical tests. This is a good way for older people to manage and prepare their budget for health services.

Medical City

When it comes to accessibility, this hospital comes to mind. You probably see its clinics in malls. We don’t want our parents and grandparents go through the hassle of long drives.

By having a clinic inside a mall, you can easily help them have a check up and do some minor lab tests and procedures.

Other hospitals that we think have good service for seniors include:

  • Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center
  • FEU Hospital
  • PGH
  • UCMED
  • Davao Doctors Hospital

Which one is the best?

It is difficult to identify one. What you can do is to look for a hospital near your residence. This way, it would be convenient to get medical services faster.

The hospitals we listed here may be too far from the patient. However, we wanted to present them as ideal medical centers where seniors are prioritized and their welfare attended to.
